Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication used to treat type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes. It helps to control blood sugar. Treatment is combined with diet and exercise. This medicine can be used alone or with other medicines for diabetes.

Generic Nexium decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid). It may also be given to prevent gastric ulcer caused by infection with helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) or by the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Generic Valtrex is used for treating shingles (herpes zoster), cold sores (fever blisters or herpes labialis), and treating or suppressing genital herpes in patients with normal immune systems. It is also used to suppress genital herpes in patients with HIV infection.
